Our feelings and actions on the Ofsted report:
We were pleased that Ofsted recognised Greenbank Primary School as a happy, safe and inclusive environment where pupils feel valued, behave well and engage positively with their learning.
Leaders, staff and governors were proud that the inspection highlighted the strong relationships across the school, pupils’ positive attitudes, an ambitious curriculum and the effective support provided for all learners, including those with SEND.
We also welcomed the constructive feedback on how we can continue to improve, particularly in strengthening early reading and ensuring clarity about the essential knowledge pupils need to learn in all subjects. Leaders have already taken steps to address these areas through focused staff development and curriculum refinement.
As a school community, we remain committed to building on our strengths and providing the highest quality education for every child.
