Age : 3-4 Years

The Governing Body has the responsibility for the allocation of Nursery places.
Applications should be made through the school office.

When places are over-subscribed the following priorities are used to allocate places:

• First Priority – Children with exceptional medical, social or educational needs
• Second Priority – Children with brothers or sisters in attendance at the school
• Third Priority – Geographical proximity and ease of access to the school

If your child is in Year 6, you need to apply for a secondary school place via the council’s website for the area in which you live. The application needs to be completed by the end of October in order for the form to be processed promptly.

If your child has not been offered a place at your preferred school, you have the right to appeal.

Important Information

• Submit appeals within 20 school days where possible.

• Appeals are heard by an independent panel.

• Hearings are usually held online.

Late Appeals

Late appeals may be heard after July or within 30–40 school days where possible.

In-Year Appeals

Appeals during the school year are usually heard within 30 school days.
